A new trend that is popular on the day of a wedding is capturing the "first look." Many couples are starting to ask exactly what that is!
A first look is best described as a private moment when the couple will see each other for the first time on their wedding day. This gives the couple a chance to see each other before the ceremony with a photographer present to capture the reactions and emotions present. Sometimes this can also be an important time for couples to reconnect and calm any last minute nerves they might be feeling. The first look is usually set up at a private predetermined area away from family and friends. Not only can this moment be a sweet memory, it can also give the couple some time to take portraits together without having to worry about it after the wedding.
However, some couples want to stick to the traditional ritual of seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony. If that is the case you can still have a first look with a family member! This has also began to become popular in weddings. Sometimes the couple might not always get to see family members or friends before the ceremony. This allows a private intimate meeting with someone you care about before you walk down the aisle.
