TIPS: Wedding Emergency Kit
A Wedding Emergency Kit is a must on a your special day. Between this Wedding Emergency Kit, a mini sewing kit and “Wow Big” event box (3 part tool box) our team is always equipped with the essentials and everything else needed to make the day flawless. We thought we’d share what goes into our Wedding Emergency Kit so our brides know the tools we have for them, and others can create one themselves!
First, What’s In It?
Wrinkle Release, Tide Stick, Tums, Wet Ones, Baby Powder, Hand SanitizerEye Drops, Cotton Rounds, Q-tips, Feminine Products, Sunscreen, Hairspray, Nail File, Nail Polish (clear and a nice natural champagne color), Blister Band-aids plus a variety of Band-aids, Chapstick, Facial Cleansing Wipes, Lint Roller, Lotion, Hair Accessories, Comb/Teaser, Razors, a variety of makeup (eye shadow, mascara, blush, pencils and lip color) plus Tweezers and Brow Gel, Oil Blotting Papers and a Mirror.
A few tips on specific items:
Sunscreen – pick something with shimmer, low oil, quick dry and NO self tanner (don’t risk it the day of)
Blister Band-aids – a must, in addition to regular band-aids. They stay all night long and instantly fix any blister, no matter how bad.
Chapstick – opt for a tub rather than a stick. You love your friends and family, but your wedding day is not the time to pass germs around. Have a tub and apply with a Q-tip.
Variety of Makeup – it’s better to have neutral colors and a larger variety, keep in mind this is not the main makeup for the day, its just for touch ups and mishaps.
A few things to add with your personal preference: aspirin, packaged snacks, mini bottles of liquor and hair tools for touch ups.
Second, Where is this all going?
We recommend picking up a bag with at least 3 compartments
1. Makeup2. Hygiene & First Aid 3. Hair & Face
