To say time was our biggest obstacle for this wedding would be an understatement, we had two, yes TWO, months to plan Kathy and Con’s special day this June. That didn’t stop us from making their wedding just as special as all of our others. We took care of all the details as if we had been planning for a year. Starting with booking some of our preferred vendors and boy did we get lucky.
Topping the list was Lana of Art & Soul Photography and Deb heading up HyVee Floral. We also scored with a new talent finding Michael Buttersworth as our pianist who played throughout the entire wedding and reception. Lastly we were able to have all the festivities in one place, at the Columbia Country Club. The day started with a ceremony for 50 close friends and family members. The guests then enjoyed a champagne reception and a special treat from the bride and groom. They booked Lana not only for wedding photos, they also had their family take new family photos.
The afternoon turned into evening as the additional 100 guests arrived for a reception. Everyone enjoyed appetizers, drinks and even a cigar or two. The evening wrapped up with a family dinner for the 50 close friends and family members to celebrate Kathy, Con and their joining families.

We took a traditional dining space and turned it into a beautiful ceremony venue
The Details: a vintage suitcase held well wishes from the guests. At Home Cards were held in the silk pockets for the guests to take and have the couple's new home address.
The Details: all the guests enjoyed hand selected cigars out on the club's new veranda.
